The 27th
Over the past week or so, the weather has forced me to give in to wearing pants and even gloves when I'm biking. Today had some welcome mildness so I was able to go for a midnight bike ride wearing shorts again. Probably the last time in 2003.

RANDOM SONG LYRICS:
I'm just an effigy to be defaced, to be disgraced, while your need for me has been erased.

She put the lime in the coconut, she drank 'em both up.

Her knees thrust in one direction like a symbol of math, a symbol meaning greater than.

I'm gonna sue Jack Daniels for hitting me with the trunk of a big ol' live oak tree.

Tomorrow we enter the town of my birth and I want to be ready.

Fuck you, asshole. You homophobic, redneck dick. Big and tough and macho, you can kick my ass. So fucking what.

With the Oil of Aphrodite and the dust of the Grand Wazoo, he said you might not believe this, little fella, but it'll cure your asthma too.

What have I got that makes you want to love me? Is it my body? Someone I might be? Something inside me?

I don't see the sun much these days. Fluorescent tan covers my hide.

We are 138.

Someday I'll have a disappearing hairline. Someday I'll wear pyjamas in the day time.

Cancer-causing chemicals, ozone-depleting aerosols, we're all going to fry so put your head between your legs and kiss your ass goodbye.

Do not victimize, read the mother-fucker-psychoholic lies. Into a psychic war, I tear my soul apart and I eat it some more.

Share a cigarette with negativity. Sitting here like wet ashes with Xs in my eyes and drawing flies.

If you can tell me the song title and artist for each entry, I'll give you 10 bucks.

The 21st
Why do all of the holidays where I pig out have to happen in the winter when I do even less activity than I do in the warmer months? Oh, winter is on the way and I know it's really, really going to suck.

But at least I've been getting some things done lately regardless of season. I've been watching movies I've been meaning to see, working on my portfolio, and getting fatter.

If I have to buy a whole new pile of pants AGAIN next year I'm going to be pissed off. I hate buying clothes almost as much as I hate getting fatter.

The 15th
Kill BillLots of movie watching going on lately and with the winter on its way I'm quite sure there are many more flicks on the way with it. But Kill Bill is on the top of my list to see again. Pretty amazing movie that's just got tons of completely over-the-top hilarious violence. Tarantino knows what he's doing. He nailed everything from the cast to the style to the music.

And after all, who doesn't like to see a severed limb gush blood like a firehose or watch a guy get his head crushed in a doorway until he twitches?

Four months is almost too long to wait for Vol. 2.

The 7th
I have to start going to bed earlier. But staying up late sure lets me be productive. Nothing like suddenly being wired at 2am for no reason whatsoever after being a lazy, tired bastard all day.

Me and Nathan watched
The Event tonight which is the new movie that's out with Bottom Dollar Baby in it. The movie was really good but I think it gave depression some competition. When you've been told it may be a comedy you kind of go into a mode which I quickly slipped out of and had visions of nooses and razor blades dancing 'round in my head. It was definitely not a comedy though there were many funny parts.

It was pretty weird to hear that song and see it listed in that credits. It was also odd to see that it was shot in New York and Halifax, and that Lucy from Trailer Park Boys was in it for a second.

Ya, so there. That's it.
