The 19th
I hate snow. There's like 5 feet of it everywhere and the plows seem to still be going non-stop. But that storm did give me two days off work so that I was able to find ample time to do some shoveling. My fingers to my shoulders are sore from doing just that. I'm so out of shape Don Knotts could kick the crap out of me.

Damn, I'm tired.

PillsOver the past week I've been having what must be the beginnings of anxiety attacks while I'm sitting at my desk at the office. It's probably not normal when you have to think about making yourself breathe. Today I almost lost it so I'm hoping for a storm day tomorrow and an opportunity to call the doctor and see what lovely little candies he'll try to give me.

As I left the house today it was cold as Hell. Ahead of me I saw a guy carrying groceries and wearing what looked to be capri pants. In weather like this, no one should be wearing capri pants. No matter what type of weather it is, men should not wear capri pants.

I like saying "capri pants".

I feel sick. This has been a bad week for the queasiness. A tuna sandwich and coffee for supper followed by hummus, pita bread, green tea, cookies, and a can of Pepsi that Tammy brough over. Not a good combination in the belly. We just sat around watching Conan in Toronto, some of the ECMAs and the Best in Show round of the Westminster Dog Show re-broadcast tonight. Yeehaw. But it was relaxing. Sunday nights are generally never exciting.

Last night I hung out with Kira, Mike and Tammy over at the Maros' for a while before—surprise—coming over he to watch some TV. At least I went out to the Heritage on Friday night to get out of the house. I was happy to find they now have an air hockey table so I made good use of it. I played against Tammy, Peter Wynn, and Trevor for a bit. Made the bar more interesting.

After getting a bunch of groceries I didn't need, I went over to Tammy's to watch Frank Zappa's "200 Motels" with her and Mike. Fried. Movie. With epilepsy-inducing split-second edits, psychadelic effects, and a story that made little to no sense it was enough to make me wonder how I can bring myself to sit through something like that. Having a belly full of blueberry muffin, fruit parfait, toffee flavoured hot chocolate, sour cream and onion chips, Skor bites, and cream soda during the acid-y freak out sequences probably wasn't going to relieve my nausea in any way. Damn I'm queasy.

I felt absolutely useless tonight so I went for a walk. It was a really good night for walking and I ended up at the waterfront where they were unloading a boat. I wish I had brought my DV cam with me because I probably could have gotten some really cool footage of the boat. If it's still docked tomorrow night and it's nice I may try again.

We've had a string of nice nights actually. Saturday night was one of the nicest winter nights I can remember. I was over at Catherine's with Tammy and Mike. We had sushi and sat around listening to records. We all went for a walk and the night was perfectly quiet and calm. It was strangely quiet and nice. Well, until we got near Water Street when the bars were closing…
